Karen Katz, the President, holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License and is a member of CACM (California Association of Community Managers), the SF Board of Realtors, and the California Association of Realtors so rest assured that the Company keeps current on management trends and participates in continuing education regarding local, state and federal issues that pertain to the well-being of your homeowners association and property. 

We are large enough to provide economies of scale, while small enough to provide courteous and personal attention. Along with Karen's education in financial and administrative management, her experience as a property developer provides her insight to construction and facilities management that few others possess.

As a native of San Francisco and graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Karen has worked to establish local relationships with vendors. She is deeply involved in the community through local philanthropy and charitable contributions.

 Property Management One has an on-site accounting department to provide all financial services.  This provides our clients with complete and accurate financials in a timely manner.

HIGH STANDARDS

Property Management One takes on-site inspections to the next level. Frequent visits ensure that your properties are being maintained to the highest standards. During these inspections we check the quality of vendor work, look for and eliminate safety hazards and graffiti, and inspect general upkeep and cleanliness of the property.

During our on-site inspections we also keep an eye out for any major work (i.e., capital improvements) that should take place in the future. We are all about preventative maintenance vs. reactive maintenance. Early detection of upcoming capital improvements often lets us plan for future expenditures.
